March is here, and with it comes the beginnings of spring – and the beginnings of the 2014 event season in Bonita Springs.
Here is a sampling of several key Bonita Springs events that you can enjoy by yourself or with your family in March.
There are several great options for theater-goers, beginning with War Horse. This play will be performed from March 11th through the 16th at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall. You can also catch the classic Les Miserables through April 12th at the Broadway Palm Theatre or see Romance/Romance at the Herb Strauss Theatre through April 5th.
If you like the classics, there’s nothing better than a performance from the Southwest Florida Symphony. On March 7th and 8th, they’ll perform “The Music of Rodgers & Hammerstein” at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall.
There is also the A Walk in the Grass 2014 Fundraiser Concert from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday, March 8th at the Alliance for the Arts. Also, you can get a free concert from the Lee County Community Band at the Cape Coral High School at 3pm on Sunday, March 9th and listen to an assortment of music, from Broadway hits to Irish melodies – and even sing-alongs!
If you enjoy movies, the BIG ARTS Film Society has a Monday Night Film Series each week at the BIG ARTS Phillips Gallery in Sanibel, starting at 7pm.
