Miniature Ornament Painting on Shells

Then enjoy an awesome workshop with renowned artist and instructor Jenny Licht, who will teach you how to paint fantastic scenes on shells and make them into festive ornaments just in time for Christmas.
All materials are included, including shells with hanging loops, acrylic paint, sparkle, brushes, paint cloths, and others. You’ll have everything you need to create four very special Florida ornaments that make for perfect gifts.

Pelican Landing Announces New Pickleball Courts
Ever play pickleball? It’s a fun, fast-paced mixture of badminton, table tennis, and tennis, and something you have to play to really experience. Now, you can do so on brand-new pickleball courts that were unveiled in a grand opening on Wednesday, complete with a raffle, live demonstrations, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

If you love being creative, you’ll love the Japanese art of Origami. This ancient art of paper-folding is a tremendous skill to learn, one that will give you hours of enjoyment no matter what your age.
You can attend an Origami workshop led by resident Rosemary Allen, and learn about the different forms and types of folds while learning how to relax and enjoy the peaceful process. The cost is just $20 and that includes all materials.
